The first round of winners of Inspire Community has been selected by the Vestaboard team, and nominations have re-opened. Vestaboard launched Inspire Community, its 1 in 100 giving program, in January, donating 1 Vestaboard for every 100 sold. More than 70 people from across the country nominated individuals and groups whose work inspires others.
Inspire Community winners hail from every region of the United States and serve a vast range of needs from educating children in underserved communities to making art accessible in remote areas. They each plan to use their Vestaboard in myriad ways to help advance their mission.
“Our Vestaboard will be prominently featured at Pike School of Art, a space in the Deep South for creative experimentation, located in rural McComb, MS. Our mission is to enrich and empower a thriving community built by artists and allies in Southwest Mississippi.
The Vestaboard will be installed in the main gallery space where it will be used to relay messages to visitors to the art center. The Vestaboard will also serve as a creative tool for PSA-MS artists to experiment with.
Thank you for providing us with such a beautiful and captivating way to communicate with our visitors.”
