Artwork by Carolyn Ford

Carolyn Ford is a self-taught abstract artist based in South Mississippi. Her work focuses primarily on the organic, earthy vibes of mid-century modernism, which combine to bring a calming yet thought-provoking effect. She loves to incorporate texture and drips into her pieces, to make them come alive. The satisfaction of taking something raw and simple, and transforming it into something soothing and awe-inspiring is what drives her creative journey. Ultimately, her artwork is a celebration of the beauty that can be found in nature and our everyday lives.
