Micro-Libraries

PSA-MS has built micro-libraries and placed them in front of small businesses in Summit and McComb. The libraries are stocked with a range of books and magazines, with the information card asking people to “take a book and leave a book.” More libraries are in the works, so stay posted.

The first micro-libary is installed at Topisaw General Store at 105 Main Street, McComb, MS 39648. It was painted by Jubilee Performing Arts Center students Eleni Varnado and Kelsi Case.
The second micro-library has been installed at The Village Flower & Gift Shop at 710 Robb Street, Summit, MS 39666. It was painted by students at The Summit, a McComb School District charter school.
The third micro-library has been installed at PJ’s Coffee at 1213 Delaware Avenue, McComb, MS 39648. It was painted by Southwest Mississippi Arts Guild member Tracy Farrell.
