PSA-MS has built micro-libraries and placed them in front of small businesses in Summit and McComb. The libraries are stocked with a range of books and magazines, with the information card asking people to “take a book and leave a book.” More libraries are in the works, so stay posted.
The first micro-libary is installed at Topisaw General Store at 105 Main Street, McComb, MS 39648. It was painted by Jubilee Performing Arts Center students Eleni Varnado and Kelsi Case.The second micro-library has been installed at The Village Flower & Gift Shop at 710 Robb Street, Summit, MS 39666. It was painted by students at The Summit, a McComb School District charter school.The third micro-library has been installed at PJ’s Coffee at 1213 Delaware Avenue, McComb, MS 39648. It was painted by Southwest Mississippi Arts Guild member Tracy Farrell.
