Celebrate Opening of the National Museum of African American
History and Culture With Smithsonian Poster Exhibition

On Sept. 24, the Smithsonian Institution opened its newest museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The celebration reached beyond Washington, D.C., to McComb, as Pike School of Art – Mississippi and Jubilee Performing Arts Center presented A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The commemorative poster exhibition was on view September 24, 2016 through November 4, 2016.

A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture was organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the Museum.
